My name is Michael Gallen and I am 22 years old.
I am a final year MEng student, studying Environmental and Civil Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast.
In my free time I enjoy keeping active, participating in hobbies such as football, gym and golf. I recently have got into hiking, completing Slieve Donard and Croke Patrick.
I have always had a passion for understanding the world we live in. From seeing new transport methods being developed to understanding the earth. E.G the weather climate effecting the way structures are built and how it controls how we live day to day.
Through my interests I have discovered civil engineering to be the perfect career path for me.
